Kathy is a Financial Consultant with Equitable Advisors, bringing decades of experience to her work with clients and their families. She began her career with Equitable after graduating from Marietta College in 1987. Before transitioning into financial services, Kathy spent 10 years in technology—earning the nickname “the computer girl”—which helped shape her analytical and solutions-oriented approach.

Since entering the financial industry in 1997, Kathy has specialized in retirement planning and risk management. She helps clients build wealth during the accumulation phase through strategies such as profit sharing and 401(k) plans and then guides them through the distribution or “spending” phase of retirement with confidence.

Kathy has extensive experience navigating some of the most volatile market environments, using a wide range of strategies and products tailored to each individual and family’s unique needs. She values collaboration and has always enjoyed a team-based approach to comprehensive financial planning, working closely with fellow advisors to deliver thoughtful solutions.

Outside of her professional life, Kathy is married to her longtime husband and friend, Dave. She is an avid golfer and a passionate supporter of women’s and girls’ golf both locally and statewide. She is also a member and chorister at First Presbyterian Church in Charleston and enjoys staying active through biking, aerobics, jogging, and other forms of exercise.
